Mission

The mission of R8aPl8is to create an online community where members (drivers) can rate and comment on a variety of vanity license plates. Subscribing to R8aPl8 and upgrading to a GOLD account for $25 allow a member to add a description of their plate. Why would someone pay $25 to add a description of their plate? Lead generation for plates that reference a business!

Objectives

R8aPl8 is a WordPress based social network site that allows its members to:

Rate and comment on vanity plate profiles
Join the R8aPl8 street team as a plate photographer
Subscribe under a basic account (only allow for profile editing)
Upgrade to a GOLD account (allow for a description and/or business contact info to be added to the public plate profile.

Non members will have the ability to:

Sort, rate and comment on plate profiles
Submit photographer inquiry form

Basic account members will have the ability to:

Update profile info
Add a plate photo (if one is not already provided by R8aPl8)
View comments
Upgrade to a GOLD member account

GOLD account members will have the ability to:

Update profile info
Add a plate photo (if one is not already provided by R8aPl8)
View comments
Add a description and/or business contact info to their public plate profile.

Land the Part

Mission

The mission of Land-the-part is to create an online community where aspiring actors and musicians can a profile and showcase audition videos. Audition videos will be rated and commented on by the community members. Land-the-Part is intended to be valid resource for actors and musicians to learn and improve their craft.

Objectives

Land the Part is intended to be a wordpress based social network site that allows subscribers to:

Showcase audition videos Rate and comment on other user videos Display a portfolio page (with an upgraded account)

Non members will have the ability to:

rate an audition video
post a comment (email required)

Standard account members “will” have the ability to:

Update profile info
Add “one” audition video (adding a second will show the update message)
Add media
View comments
Send audition video to contact list

Standard account members “will not” have the ability to:

Add more than one video
Add personal info If a user clicks this link in the left margin, the upgrade message will be displayed. Once the account is upgraded to GOLD, the personal info options will be available to add/edit.
View Comments: Comments can only be edited by a land-the-part administrator. In “no” case will a member be able to edit comments, only view them within their profile, much like the standard WP subscriber role.

View Comments: Comments can only be edited by a land-the-part administrator. In “no” case will a member be able to edit comments, only view them within their profile, much like the standard WP subscriber role.
Send audition videos to contacts list People who signup for their list on site? Not upload a contact list. We will need to add additional hours for this within development. This can simply be a field for members to add emails to, but ideally I’d like to see if there is a plugin available that has been developed to “send to a friend” option. I have seen this for posts.

Pasdera Jewelers

We provided Pasdera Jewelers with a web presence that extends their ability to reach customers outside of their national stores. Multiple categories are provided throughout the site with main and sub category navigation. A custom Google Map was built for users to find the nearest store based on radios and zip code.

Operations Ninja

Mission
The site will focus on building the owner’s reputation as a knowledgeable resource and the market’s awareness of the benefits, methods and science behind Forecasting and Operations Management and Research. Eventually, the owner plans to act as a consultant in the field, and will build this reputation through insightful articles, videos, and organized instruction, to include case studies.

The site will focus on theory, practical usage, and a variety of tools to include Excel and MATlab. While the ultimate goal is to build status of the owner, supplemental income is a secondary goal which will be earned through “membership” style courses that explore more advanced topics, and affiliate sales.

The owner is planning to earn a PhD in Operations Research, and to attain Black Belt certification in Six Sigma. The website will be a forum for presenting information for the following four groups:

Small to Medium business owners looking to expand profitability and efficiency
Students in Operations Research, in an MBA curriculum, and those exploring the field
Workers who are interested in Six Sigma Certification
Those who are seeking Business Process consulting services to help their business operate more efficiently or to solve a complex problem that is limiting their business.

Future expansion will focus on two different products:

Six Sigma Certification training course
“MBA in a Box” condensed training courses for those who want an expanded business education, but are not interested (or can’t afford) a full time college commitment
